Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Trichy, successfully conducted a Skill Development Program in collaboration with KGiSL Micro College from 7th to 11th July 2025. This initiative aimed to enhance the employability and industry-readiness of students through practical skill-building sessions.

The program featured expert-led training on a wide range of current and in-demand topics, including

• Advanced Machine Learning (ML)

• Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

• Digital Marketing with AI

• Power BI

• Business Analytics

• HR Skills

• Personality and Communication Development

The training sessions were attended by more than 400 pre-final and final year UG/PG students from various departments, including Mathematics, Physics, BBA, AI & ML, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Data Science, MCA, MSW, and M.Com.

This impactful program provided students with valuable exposure to industry expectations and emphasized the importance of upskilling to stay relevant in the evolving job market.

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Trichy, organized a special Financial Awareness Program in collaboration with Knowise on June 23, 2025, at the YVD Seminar Hall.

The session was led by Mr. Shankar Sundaresan, Finance Educator and SEBI SMART Trainer, who delivered an engaging and insightful discussion on the importance of financial literacy. His talk focused on key topics such as:

• Phases of financial planning

• Investment strategies

• Introduction to Mutual Funds

The program was specially designed for the Final Year students of B.A. Economics, BBA, and M.Com, aiming to enhance their understanding of personal finance and investment fundamentals.

A total of 73 students actively participated and benefited from the orientation session.
