Shrimati Indira Gandhi successfully organized an Aptitude & Analytical Skill Development Program in association with Inlustro commenced from 22.12.2025 for the benefit of undergraduate students. The program was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, which are essential for competitive examinations and campus recruitment processes.

The training sessions were handled by experienced trainers from Inlustro, who provided in-depth conceptual explanations along with practical problem-solving techniques. The program covered key areas such as numerical ability, reasoning, logical aptitude, and time management strategies. Interactive sessions, practice exercises, and real-time assessments helped students understand exam patterns and improve their accuracy and speed.

Students actively participated in the training and expressed that the sessions were highly informative and useful for their placement preparation.

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College successfully organized a virtual campus placement drive in association with Rinex Technologies Pvt. Ltd. On 22.12.2025, providing final-year students with valuable employment opportunities.

The recruitment process included Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for the role of Inside Sales Strategist. Students from various departments actively participated in the selection process.

As a result of the drive, 11 students were selected with an attractive salary package of 4 LPA.

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College successfully organized a campus placement drive in association with Firstsource Solutions on 11 December 2025, with the objective of enhancing the employability of final-year students and providing meaningful career opportunities in the corporate sector. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from final-year students belonging to various departments of the institution.

The recruitment process was structured to assess the candidates’ communication skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and professional readiness. It comprised multiple stages, including a Group Discussion (GD) to evaluate teamwork, clarity of thought, and articulation skills, followed by an Assessment Round to test aptitude and job-specific competencies, and finally a Personal Interview (PI) to assess overall suitability for the role. The selection process was conducted for the position of Customer Support Associate – International Voice and Non-Voice Process, offering students exposure to global customer interaction and corporate work culture.

The students participated actively in all stages of the selection process, demonstrating confidence, discipline, and professional competence. Their performance highlighted the effectiveness of the continuous training, skill development programs, and career guidance initiatives conducted by the Training and Placement Division.

As a successful outcome of the placement drive, 13 students were selected by Firstsource Solutions, securing an attractive salary package of Rs. 2.27 LPA. The institution takes pride in this achievement, which reflects the dedicated efforts of the Training and Placement Division, faculty members, and the students.

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, in association with GTT & ATOS–Prayas Foundation, successfully commenced a CRM and Logistics Training Program from 11.12.2025 for the benefit of students.

The program aims to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Logistics, enabling them to meet current industry demands. The training sessions focus on key aspects such as customer handling, supply chain management, inventory control, communication skills, and real-time business processes.

Experienced trainers from GTT & ATOS–Prayas Foundation are delivering the sessions through interactive lectures, case studies, and hands-on activities to ensure effective learning outcomes. Around 58 students from various departments benefited from the training, gaining valuable exposure to real-world corporate practices and enhancing their employability in the CRM and logistics sectors.

We were honored to host Ms. Pinky Janarthanam, Program Manager of Naan Mudhalvan | TNSDC, for an inspiring session held on campus from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Domain Skill Development Training for English Department Students

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Tiruchirappalli, in association with Confidence organized a Domain Skill Development Training program for the Pre-final & Final Year students of the English Department.

The training aimed to equip students with essential language, communication, and professional competencies that complement their academic learning and prepare them for future career pursuits.

The program included focused sessions on English Language Communication, Personality Training, Content Writing, and IELTS Preparation.

The Communication Training module enhanced students’ fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in both academic and workplace communication.

The Personality Training sessions encouraged self-presentation, leadership, goal setting, and emotional balance, fostering a positive and professional outlook.
