A Proud Celebration of the 77th Republic Day

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The celebration was graced by Chief Guest Maj. Mini M, Commanding Officer, 4 TN Girls Battalion, NCC, who unfurled the National Flag. Director Smt. S. Aparna, Principal Dr. P. Gajalakshmi, faculty members, and students participated in the event with pride and reverence.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasized the values of the Indian Constitution, civic responsibility, national unity, environmental conservation, and self-reliance. Inspiring speeches by Ms. K. Sree Shruthi, Ms. P. J. Ananya, and Ms. G. Kalpana highlighted India's democratic ideals and achievements, making the celebration a memorable occasion that reinforced patriotism and the spirit of responsible citizenship.
