About the Department
The department was established in the year 1984. B.A English was started in 2009. There are 18 faculty members in the department. 4 of them are doctorates, 5 have passed SET / NET, and 1 is pursuing Ph.D.

Department Highlights
- A bridge course is conducted for all the new entrants every year for a week.
- There is an exclusive language lab to improve the English communication skills of the students and staff members.
- The department nurtures the English language usage through competitions, book reviews and screening of literary movies.
