Shrimati Indira Gandhi College Signs MoU with NASSCOM to Strengthen Industry–Academia Collaboration

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Tiruchirappalli, organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Exchange Ceremony on 04 February 2026 to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and enhance students' skill development and placement opportunities. The event was graced by Mr. Udaya Sankar, Director, NASSCOM, and Co-Founder, Maatram Foundation, as the Chief Guest, along with Shri K. Chandrasekharan, Chief Executive Officer, Smt. S. Aparna, Director, and Dr. P. Gajalakshmi, Principal.

The MoU marked the beginning of a long-term partnership focused on training, career guidance, skill enhancement, and placement support. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasized women empowerment and the importance of developing 21st-century skills, particularly Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration (4Cs), inspiring students to prepare for future career opportunities.
