Faculty Development Programme on Emerging Technologies

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Tiruchirappalli, organized a Faculty Development Programme on March 21, 2026, featuring Dr. Ramana Vinjamuri, Associate Professor, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, as the Chief Guest. The programme highlighted the significance of Industry 4.0, interdisciplinary research, and academic innovation.

Dr. Vinjamuri's keynote focused on Brain–Computer Interfaces (BCIs), neuroprosthetics, and collaborative research opportunities, inspiring faculty to embrace emerging technologies, pursue funded research, and strengthen student mentorship. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A and a vote of thanks.
