The National College Council is a society registered under Societies Registration Act of 1860. It has been serving the cause of education for the past 123 years.

Shri.S.Kunjithapatham, the dynamic Secretary of the Council has been guiding the destinies of all the Institutions under the Management of the Council.

Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Established by Founder Sri.K.Santhanam, was inaugurated by the then Vice President Sri R.Venkataraman in 1984.
